Schedule

  Charlie Adams Day is annually scheduled for the second Saturday in September. The 2019 date is September 14th. Set-up and events start Friday afternoon.


Schedule  is subject to change. Children's activities will be on-going from  9:30a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Children's Fun Run corner of Main & 9th  Street 9:30 a.m. Turtle races sponsored by K&C Manufacturing are  scheduled for 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. Land tortoise ONLY. Prizes for  decorating turtles. Equity Bank's Money in the Haystack 10:00 a.m. Arts  and crafts will also be set up for 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Adult  Walk/Run/Bike at 8:00 a.m. Corner of Main & 9th.

Inflatables furnished by Kay County Officers

9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. Historical Demonstrations of flint knapping, blacksmithing, and Dutch oven cooking.

Cruisin' for Charlie Poker Run - Registration in front of Char Ron Lounge 12:30 - 2:00

First bike out at 1:30 p.m. This will be an "All Wheels" poker run. $15 entry fee


 Show  & Shine Car Show 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. on 7th Street from Main to  Walnut and on Maple between 6th & 7th Street in front of the  library. $20 entry fee

Food

Selling  of tasting kits will begin at 11:30 a.m. and serving will begin at 12:00 noon.  Tasting kits are $10.00 each. Serving will continue until food is gone. Hot dogs and hamburgers are  also available for sale and there will be Dutch Oven desserts and  homemade ice cream. Pop and water will also be for sale.
